*Grumbles* Quick question... When you buy printer paper, is the weight per hundred sheets (or whatever) listed clearly?! This hunk of overpriced junk printer, that has all the bells and whistles (scanner, fax, etc) can't possibly be bothered to print a piece of freaking paper! I think it might be that the paper is the lighter cheap stuff and it only wants to eat the expensive, fancy, heavy weight stuff. I haven't purchased printer paper since dinosaurs roamed, so I'm afraid to go buy some and waste money on junk that won't work, lol.

I'm not sure the weight of the paper matters. Have you tried turning the printer off and unplugging it? Then plug back in and restart it.

 two sick kids, a mom telling herself she's not getting sick and a postal worker who for some reason thinks its funny to scan packages and take them for a ride but not deliver them and leave me notices. No big deal if the PO was right down the road but its a 10-15 minute drive! :barnie for real?!??! This is the ninth time this month! 3rd time this week!!!!! Drives me up the wall! Sorry. Rant over!

Yeah. Then I had to reinstall the printer (for some reason, if it gets unplugged, you have to reinstall). It's never done this particular thing though. It just won't feed the paper.

I absolutely LOVE dorkings. and am getting into them as well. but I lost my roo a couple of months ago.

kind of a set-back. my hens had just started laying, too. I did hatch out one little egg and it was a pullet...so he will live on in his daughter

They are the friendliest, most inquisitive and non-flighty chicken I have had so far. but from what I have heard they have lost alot of the size they used to have.

they are hard to find good specimens of, if you are looking for show quality chickens. Sandhill, Yellowhouse Farm and Dick Horstman are the people I know of who aren't Hatchery, and depending on what coloring you want. I am sure there are others, too.

Glad to meet another Dorking lover!!!!

Oh, excellent! I'll have to keep up with your updates. I'm sorry to hear you lost your roo :( My husband is putting the final touches on the plans for the coop and the dual runs and then I'll have an idea of when I can purchase. He's a craftsman and has to have all his stuff lined up and planned out before he starts. The good thing is, that generally means I know a) how much one of his projects is gonna cost me and b) how long it will take him to get from start to finish. Makes planning a purchase easier :)

I'd talk to them. My carrier was switched and I had some issues. I ship quite a bit, but she was new, and she didn't pick up packages. I had to take them in, and I had the same problem, I was sick as sin, the kids were sick and it was scheduled for pick up, so it was just added hassles onto my miserable day. I asked if we had any mail there (wasn't any in our box, I didn't see her go through, figured she just skipped us altogether). Anyways, the next time, she never stopped for a pick up of three packages. I didn't call in yet or anything, but the supervisor sent her back to pick them up afterwards. I felt bad, but I haven't had any issues with that again.
