I'm here.....
waiting for COF to post pics of the brooders![]()
No worries.............when you get them picked up and shipped is A-OK with meFor those of you who are expecting eggs from me for tomorrow shipping... The guy is get the eggs from is not answering my phone calls. :barney I spoke to him on Wednesday and he said I should be able to pick up today, after they collected, and he would call.
This guy normally is good about calling back, and always has eggs and chicks for sale, he has two cabinet bators that he fills every week. I plan on calling him tomorrow, and if I can, pick up the eggs and get them in the mail before noon.
I am very sorry that there has been a delayI hate owing you guys eggs that I have very little control of. I have been anxious about this the last couple days. It's kind of like when your chickens just refuse to lay, only its someone else's chickens, and they get first pick.![]()
I don't doubt that I will finally get ahold of the guy... But I wanted everyone to know that I am trying to get my swaps out, and I am not trying to gyp anyone or fall in to bad terms with the swap. I won't be claiming anymore swaps until I get these shipped out and I won't be offering eggs from birds I don't have at my house and laying.
If you guys wouldn't mind waiting, I will keep you updated and get them to you as soon as I can, or, if you are tired of waiting, I will give you $16 pp for the swaps I owe you.
I'm sorry guys. Please try to understand that I am trying. I really feel bad and don't want to have a bad standing with the swap. I respect everyone here.
Those who have claimed quail eggs from me, those swaps will all be filled no problemI have quail that should be laying when the days get longer, plus 70 in lockdown (five already hatched!!)![]()

Found them at Home Depot ........................ sold in 2 packs for $19.98 right now. picked up a roll of plastic hardware cloth for the fronts, zip tied them in place, bungee cords at the top as a drop down hatch. The very top brooder will have a solid lid on top (have to make and mount it after the wee one goes to bed) They have handles molded in the sides to make for an easy carry too.
