yes, it is a very nice birdIf they end up not being the right leg color, they would look good with the EE's, overall it is very pretty!

run up and look at em and let us know what they look likeThey are only an hour from me.![]()
These are in my ebay watch list. I almost bid last auction, but they went for almost $50 a dozen. Leg coloring does look questionable, but if the price is right I would say its worth the risk. Here is a link for Ameraucana breeders, if you haven't seen it yet. A few breeders of whites. I did contact Wayne Meredith and he was good about a response. I believe he also does white. Hope this helps with the addiction.Ok I am bidding on these, couldn't tell about the color of the legs.... guy has good feedback though...

50 quail only equal one chick. I mean, look how tiny they are.![]()
I have had 53 quail hatch this morning. I think I have maybe 5 more that seem to be still moving and have pipped. Only have two that I don't think will make it. One that still has a lot of yolk externally, so if by tomorrow it isn't absorbed I will have to put it down.
Tomorrow 14 buff leghorns and 2 black Dutch go into lockdown. I will wait a week or two for the combs of the leghorns to grow in and sell all but a quad. Once I meet with Kraftyladies, I will have 25 cochin chicks to add to the brooder, which I will keep the colors I want until some feathers grow in, to check for vulture hocks. I am going to be overrun for a month or so. Husband is going to be sooooooo MAD when he comes home to 50 quail chicks. I never told him I was incubating them. This morning he asked if I had chicks hatching in my closet because he heard the peeping... But I know he is going to be POed to see how many. Oh well.
