I've found that extra calcium seems to sometimes cause that? I love it though eggs are so cool. Not going to be on much in the next week. I'm hunkering down and building wooden things and burning wooden things. I am sending BCMs to spoiled chicken tomorrow. Then I have a huge order for puglady to fill and then normal service should resume. Very excited about getting all this wood stuff made and finished. Super fun! Also pm me if I owe you one and you're okay with having it flat packed with some assembly. I'll pre drill any holes and will include screws. It will just be far easier to ship that way. Madam's is in a rather large box..... Anyway. Hope all is well with everyone.

Going to enjoy no rain by cleaning coops and restructuring yards. Will have some very happy birds who will reward me with LOTS of eggs! At least a girl can hope right?

That may be it. I put out oyster shell free choice, but I have to refill the dish in this pen more often. You think they're calcium hogs? Do you think there is there any harm in continuing free choice for them?
