So finally heard from Jenny and I'm looking to turn the loss of the spitz into more blue partridge brahmas. Just not taking my chances on the spitz not making it again.

I have an orpington! My first orpington ever, from kraftyladies

It's supposed to be white, but it sure doesn't look white to me. Lavender, maybe? Came home to find it sprawled out drying in the breeze from the fan, perfectly content A few more pips here and there, but other than that, not much change from four hours ago. This is the hardest part of all for me, trying to be patient...

Came home with twenty lovely Buckeye eggs that'll be going in the incubator as soon as the current crop comes out, along with my eggs from WVstruttin. YAY!!

Right now I have a cockatoo who is determined to eat either my power cord or my toes if I don't get off the 'pute and play with him. Back in a while!

I just got a box of yummy surprises from AyeUpChuck...thank you! I hardly had the box unwrapped before I tried one of those spicy squash pickles...they have some nice kick and they are pretty!

Please let me know if you end up with an extra boy I can side swap for. I have hens but lost my boy this fall.
