RBR,

Any pips from your eggs, yet? My Buttercups hatched later than normal at 21 days instead of 19, and my Sussex hatched at 22 days in response to your question about incubation time. That was the first hatch I ever had where nothing pipped early.

Yes very mellow and laid back. My laced brahmas have been super mellow and calm. Quite a few people are intimidated by their size but my 3 grandsons ages 2-5 ran around them all day. They were half as tall as the 2 year old! :lau

Lol it is true...I have had a substitute ups man honk and refuse to get out until I came out and told him it was ok. He was like. " that is the BIGGEST rooster I have ever seen! "

I don't know if it was just the place I bought them but I had heard and my experience that day old to week old get real stressed during shipping.

I have 2 of them I got yesterday and those little champs were running around last night.

I need a giant attack rooster!!  Keep my neighbors in line. :lau

Lol he was all bark no bite...
He once got attacked by a little silkie cross , the little guy was buzzing around his head like a crazy knat and the big brahma would just step on him then walk away. As a result I had to put meds near his eye...I could just scoop him up and administer in broad daylight no problem.
