How do I become eligable to swap? My name is on the list in the purple (not eligable yet) and says (Posts) next to it. I thought that meant that I didn't have enough posts but the rules said 50 and I am almost at 60. What part am I missing? Thanks!
I think that means you are posting but not swapping yet, but I could be wrong.

LOL...no doubt thereI started in december with just a basic circulated air inky with an egg turner, I now have two genesis 1588's, one brinsea octo 20 and the one I started with...lol 4 bators and have 3 of them going right now, reserving the original for lockdown and hatching....I am an addict!
NO, NO, NO mustn't get another one. Cannot have 4.....I will be homeless. Roomates will kick me out to barn with the birds. Well, maybe just one more? Where, or where could I hide it?

Can anyone take a guess as to the color/variety of these Cochins? One looks barred maybe, but I just dunno. All I do know is they look nothing like black cochin chicks that I have hatched.

THe Ivermectin you use by putting a few drops at the base of their tail, right??

And, I have a picture with a question, but I don't want the above question to get missed, so I'm going to do another post, hehe

Okay... does this chick look like it could be cuckoo?? (Yes, he is on my kitchen counter, it was lysol'd afterwards, lol)

He hatched from a Delaware egg covered by my French Blue Copper Marans roo... so how would that happen?? If it is cuckoo, does that mean my roo's genes are messed up? I was hoping to get some good meat birds by crossing them... my roo has a nice broad chest and the Delaware hens are big hens and have been good layers...

Hi all!

My Mr. tolerates my one incubator because it limits the # of chick I have at one time. (I don't think he realized that I could get chicks sent to me)

Also, I "borrowed" the money for the incubator and my first 8 paypal swaps from our household money, so I have to pay all that back before I can swap again with pp.

I did just sell 11 of my mixed layer, straight-run, week old chicks for $35, which is pretty good around here. He didn't think that I would actually sell the chicks. So, I'm slowly working my way out of "debt"

It'll be MUCH easier when the layers pick-up on their laying and I can sell eating eggs.
