No, not even worth the risk.

goose eggs lay on their sides for incubation and hatching both. You can use an auto turner, but they MUST be on their sides. You still need to mark one side with a X and the other with O and hand turn them once a day on top of having them laid on their sides in the turner. One of our cabinets runs a turner, when i done have it maxed out i use the turner, otherwise i just pull the racks 3 times a day to turn.

Wait, I thought that shipped eggs needed to be pointy end down? What's changed?
 
I've been doing all of mine pointy end down. I believe goose eggs are the only ones you lay down (not counting emu and all those things). Celtic, I believe lays her duck eggs as well (maybe just the scovies?) That's not just shipped eggs, but fresh eggs as well.
