I have a dozen GLW eggs that I set on the 12th. I candled last night and all but one look clear. At what point should I give up and pitch them? The Arkansas Blues that I set at the same time all show very clear veining and movement from the embryos.

:/ if they're clear on day 7 I don't think they're going to develop :(

That's kind of what I thought. I've never had that poor of results even on shipped eggs. Oh, well.
 
My eggs aren't doing that great this time around, either. I have one incubator that lost probably a third that didn't begin any veining and one incubator going that has lost half of what it started with because they were all either clear or quit somewhere in the first several days. I wonder if its the time of year/weather.

I agree on keeping the rooster like it is! Total rustic look!
