I sometimes stir it up with some veggies, broccoli carrots and such. Add smoked sausage, like kielbasa, but kids like it with chicken or hot dogs. Add a little parm, toss and there you go.
No broccoli, limited carrots. It's a super restrictive diet - her tummy can't process fructose, which is in almost everything natural and processed.
I think I'm going to saute some garlic and finely chopped onion in oil then toss in some olives and oregano.

ETA: Usually I don't even try to make anything with tomatoes, and they're a huge no-no, and I don't want to have to prepare two separate dinners, but spaghetti is a comfort food for me, and I totally need some comfort food.

x2! It is crazy when you're on here and feel like you really get to know people and then they disappear... Like a lot of people on here, I socialize with all of you more than I socialize with many of my local friends. I'm on here nearly every day and while I have a few local friends that I talk to about as often, most of them I don't see or talk to as much as you all.

It is always sad to lose someone, but it is particularly sad when it is a child. :(

I work in another county and know litraly no one in my county. I Do most of my socializing online. Get a lot more perspectives that way but it does make the parties quiet, lol.

I also just wanted to say since sometimes it makes feel insensitive not to respond that I avoid the kid talk because we have been trying for about 10 years with no luck. I'm about at my experiation date on that front, so its a bit of a painful topic. So I'll just apologize all at once for not responding to all the sad and wonderful stories you all have about your lovely and crazy babies.

Like I said, you guys are great. So, does anyone have any suggestions for what to put on spaghetti noodles? My littlest can't have tomatoes (among many other things) and doesn't like Alfredo sauce. I am having spaghetti for dinner because I want it, but I need to come up with something for her.....

Take hot pasta and a hot bowl and crack an egg in it. Toss untill the egg is cooked and add cooked peas or a favored veggie and panchetta or a favorite meat source (hotdogs?) Throw some salt pepper and cheese on top.

Its fast and one of my favorite dinners, traditional cabornarra ( sp)

OMG. that sounds so yummy. We had an exchange student from Italy come and stay with us when I was a kid and she made us this, with bacon. I totally forgot about it until you said something.

When: March 30, 2013

Time: 5pm to 11pm
Participants: Members in good standing with the Swap Thread.
Rules: All members of the Swap thread are allowed to participate. In order to offer Spring or later eggs, you must be on the completely unrestricted list. Walli can post a list of all participants that are unrestricted. If you wish to be a main offerer please PM me and put Easter Swap in the subject line. Sign ups will end on March 23, 2013. This will not be a free for all. Names of individuals who signed up to offer will be drawn at random. If you are not on when your name is drawn then you will be skipped. If we have time at the end we will pick someone at random to put an offer up. Any good standing participant of the swap can try to claim an offer. There will be a 5 minute time limit for participants to put their offers up. Once the time is up we will move on to the next offer while the offerer is considering offers. You do not have to take any offers if there is nothing that appeals to you.

How It Works: Not many of you know how a Reverse Swap works so hopefully this will help:

CPL offers 12+ Jubilee Orpington Chicks

The object is for other participants to offer something to CPL as a trade for those beautiful chicks.

COF offers 6 goslings

crfarm offers 24+ Marans chicks

madamwlf offers 12+ Black Barthuhner chicks

Now CPL can decline all offers but instead she accepts madamwlf's offer Barthuhner chicks. If you have any questions please ask. This is a immensely fun swap and it can get crazy!!!

I just loved watching the fun that happened on NYD. I predict that I am going to be glued to my computer again...

I missed the last one but this one for Easter is the night before my birthday...

I am in the same boat as well, except about 5 years. I will be 40 this year, so I believe our animals will be our children at this point. I have come to terms with it, and I love my animals. I kind of keep to myself when it comes to all that talk as well, so since it was brought up, I figured I should say something too.

My thoughts to both of you! I'm sure people will understand why you avoid the talk. It is painful. It is not that you're being insensitive.

Ok quick question for duck hatchers!!!!!! I have my first cayuga duck hatched. it rolled another over just right in the incubator where it had pipped open a whole. It is dead. I took it out real quick when I could see that it had pipped and been rolled over onto it's opening.
Question, for best results, laying down on their side or in a tray????
