So I think it is official. Out of 36 eggs set, I have 1 healthy chick. I think I am ready for this break from hatching. I am getting depressed.

Looking for large quantity of autosexing hatching eggs. NJs, Rhodebars, and CCLs specifically. I want to have some cool autosexers available to the backyard patrons of Portland for our spring swap. I got my GSBR eggs today!

1 was cracked in HALF but didn't really get on any other eggs and 1 had a nice dent but was not leaking. He used a foam shipper for 3 doz (the 2 that broke were in the foam shippers) and another doz in an egg carton... no padding but they were fine. I was concerned when I put the box in the car and there was egg leaking... but overall I am HAPPY! Now to just get them to hatch

On a SAD note... My Blue Copper Marans Roo died today. I think it was his heart.... I lost his brother in the fall and it was his heart too I think. I do have backup roos so now down time for eggs.

Babymakes6 - Just after you PM'd me today I got a call from the sorting center. I have the Prettiest Roo you have ever seen!! His pictures did not do him justice. Kind of funny though, when she said the empty box had been damaged, I did not expect what he arrived in.... I took pictures and will send you one. I laughed till I cried. I'm telling you, she can do miracles with tape and extra cardboard

That box WAS in perfect shape when I sent it to her! So happy Johan arrived safely!
