Hey everybody! 1 week until I start my trip!! Looks like I am going to be moving ALOT of chickens around this trip! I hope the weather clears up for this trip!! OK could everyone I am meeting send my your phone number and address where I am meeting you. I will call and let you know when I should be to you based off my GPS. I am sleeping in my truck so should get further each day then I originally thought. Please label carriers with BYC name of person receiving. I am worried I will get something mixed up! Here is a pic of my truck, so if we are meeting you can find me!




Older chicks will be in the bed, I will have some room in the cab for youngsters, but I travel with three border collies so space will be limited! I can't wait to meet everyone!

This sounds like an amazing adventure!!! While you'll have tons of chickens to keep you busy, I've always wanted to travel in my own vehicle across country. I think it would be a lot of fun.

I am so sorry your hatch isn't going well... It's hard to swallow nothing hatching

It was hatch day here for me. I had 13 of chickamongus eggs in LD and 10 hatched. 5 are from her silkied pen, so I am very excited. I still have one egg that is going in LD on Monday. I missed it when
I was unpacking her eggs and found it several days later. It still developed so I hope it hatches too!!

This sounds like an amazing adventure!!! While you'll have tons of chickens to keep you busy, I've always wanted to travel in my own vehicle across country. I think it would be a lot of fun.

I have driven across country a few times. Well 4 times myself. I love it! It is fun to stop and see everything.

Hi WV! If she did get chicks, bet they would be great for cold weather!! (I'm assuming it is an ice sculpture?)

Do you know how the crazy 24 hour swap works? My girls are laying but not consistantly enough to offer an auction - I never know what I'm gonna get. Between yesterday and today, I have 14 Serama eggs, 12 Silkie eggs, 17 Australorp eggs and 6 Chocolate Orp eggs (those are 2 per day for last 3 days). My incubator had an egg accident and needs to be cleaned so I'm gonna hatch out what is in it, clean it out and start again so I don't want to set them. I know they are all fertile, the chocolate are hit and miss when I look at the ones that I have in the incubator. I was going to offer the whole lot for sale but need to send tomorrow. I thought I could do it on the crazy thread???
