Mama2my4 sent me 15 b/b/s bantam orpington eggs from the swap. Its day 4 and I can see there are at least 9 of them developing! If I remember right, she is new to shipping eggs. I must say, great job!
Ok so no one guessed 1 breed in the last guess the chicks pix. Can anyone guess what breed that was? The is a prize you have an hour
BM6 would knowHmmm...what breed did no one guess? Shoot, I don't remember half of what was guessed. Barnies?
Okay, so I am calibrating my hygrometer right now and I am keeping the one trench in the bottom of the incubator full as per the instructions. Once I have my hygrometer calibrated, I can make any adjustments or even add a sponge. Does this sound like a good plan?I would say if the first chick was sticky, the second was too. It drowned becuase it was sticky, if that makes sense. If your humidity was too low for too long, all the clicks will have their membrane tight, if you up the humidity too much, they will be stuck and the extra humidity will drown them before they can move.
oeg and hedamora
That is so not right.
I definitely see some bantam chocolate orps there.
