Me! Alex (doubleatraining) will pick him up from Herducks. I will get him from Alex, and then hold him until May. Hubby is finishing the quarantine house this weekend...which means put a door on it. I just wish he was going to have company. I might have to donate a pullet to him. Shoot....how old is he, anyway?

He is just about 9 month's old.

The simple things make me so happy! I posted a pic of a juvenile SFH a couple weeks or so ago to try to figure out if it was a cockerel or pullet.

Everyone seemed sure it was a cockerel, but she surprised all of us! When I took the pic, it had been raining and her hairdo was a little damp which made it look spiky. My second group of SFHs are 3 weeks younger and the boys are very evident. They have very spiky feathers in their crests (totally different from the pullet's feathers), and their hackle feathers, combs and wattles are very noticeable now.

I have 4/4 pullets from KYTinpusher and 2/5 pullets from BHep. Awesome group!

Evening everyone! I wish I was a part of this cross country drive!

I have just locked 8 of 8 BBS Ameraucanas from krafty! Amazing all 8 look beautiful! Lots more going into lockdown by Monday.

I need advice from someone here--I have a cockerel who does not play nice with others. I removed him and put him in his own crate two weeks ago. He is tall enough to rub his rose comb on the top of the crate and now has developed some black spots on it. He is being shown at the Magnolia Classic next weekend. Any suggestions about clearing up his comb?

I am moving him tomorrow into a larger isolation coop until he gets his hormones under control. In the meantime, I don't know what to do with his comb looking that way.

I have to vent! I packed a box of 40 BCM eggs box in box and sent it to central Oregon priority mail on Monday. They just got it. Friday. Seriously. 5 days to go 150 miles?!?!? Really upsets me. I know we have no real other avenue but that's just not priority IMO.

I bought some eggs off of Ebay and they mailed them on the 4th, I still have yet to see them. The person I bought the eggs off of refuses to give me a refund.

Not sure what to do. I am out all of my money and no product for what I paid for. This is there dispute with the post office not mine. I didn't send the package and yet I am the one being punished. 11 days in the mail and still never left WI where they were shipped from. Tomorrow being 12 days.

Did you pay through PP? Can't you file a dispute if you don't receive purchased items?
