I know we have AG exempt just for having the pine trees on our property. It has to be a percentage of the land we own, we have ten acres, an I want to say it had to be 20%.

In FL ag exempt applies to property taxes, not sales tax. You have to become a registered busniess and apply for sale/use tax certificate here and then can only apply it to items directly related to your business. So like a bakery can not get tax free on lumber. A chicken breeder cant get tax free on water founts, feed pans ect (because they are for use not resale). be sure you read YOUR states Department of Revenue site, and Department of Agriculture as well as county and city/town (if you live in one) laws concerning business and being legitimate.
