Morning all .................. woke up to a sore throat this morning. Gonna make for a long day.

We have two white sebbies hatched, a mess of khaki ducklings hatched. Have a dewlap and another sebbie externally pipped, and Lavender Laced Orps in lockdown from Gabble, as well as EE from our stock and Light brahma

So I've decided to keep the Augsburger chicks. It's such a unique looking breed and it's black. I'm happy with that. And the fact it is a extremely rare and endangered breed. More reason to keep and breed them.

That's the only thing I can think of, but these were from the swaps. I did ask them to hold off shipping until the eighth and they agreed, but I wouldn't think they held the eggs. Well I guess I wouldn't. I'm pretty upset, as this ruined a LOT of eggs. I got the incubator emptied and outside for airing and leaning. What a mess. I've never even had an egg explode in an incubator before. Had a hen have every egg she was sitting on go bad and some explode, but never in an incubator. It's just gross. I'm so made I could just cry.

Maybe the egg was really porous. I just pulled one at day 8 that had some really funky stuff floating around when I candled and it looked and felt very different...very porous.

Received a shipment from CPL today, got 2 CCL's, 3 Isbars(?) and 4 marked EO? any idea what those are? Or if you're online CPL....it's driving me crazy, lol.

I don't know how many hours, but I worked on it for three weeks before the contest. My mom and sister helped, and we won first place. It was fun, and we are planning to enter again this year. Any Ideas on what we should make? We have not decided yet.
