No one seems to know.  Apparently, they left Ohio at 9:30 this morning and missed 10:00 delivery to us (duh!).  The flight from Ohio is only 1 and 1/2 hours.  They should be at the MN sorting facility!!!  But, no scan.  No one seems to be able to give me any kind of number for the airport hub.  I called the main number, they said there isn't one.  My PO tried to tell me no ones there.  When I said that I could not accept that that is possible, they he says he has tried to called the supervisor several times and no one answers.  I just talked to him again and said that I know there are dozens of live animals more fragile than my chickens at the Minneapolis Airport and I really needed him to find someone who could tell me something.  I agree, I KNOW someone is there.  I just can't get a number.  I KNOW they can bring it out by courier this afternoon or tonight, but I also don't think they will unless I insist.  I am frustrated that nobody seems to have kind of phone number.  How is that even possible?

I absoulutly beleive that it is IMPOSSIBLE that there is no someone who can check on this. Any ideas about how to find out??? Jeez, they handle people's dogs and animals worth 1000's of dollars, I am positive they can do better.

call and tell them you know your box of live chicks is sitting there and you need them to be located. Ask to be transferred to the Express Cargo Manager, or dock Manager

First of all, how did you find that?????

We are getting closer. But, this is just a recording with hours and locations. You just keep getting the same recording and no way to get through......
 
I have received good news from our insurance company. The customer service rep I spoke with was very helpful. She said that I would just need to write a letter explaining the medical necessity for the usage of the Mayo Clinic and it was almost sure to be approved. She is even checking to see if there is a way to get travel expenses to the clinic paid by the insurance.

I think the mistake was at the doctor's office or in the translation as English is a second language.

I am waiting now to hear as to what time frame in order get everything set up. My son has an interview with CA Technologies in Plano, TX on April 11th and would like to wait until that is done if it doesn't make a difference in recovery, etc.

Geesh..... Glad they are handling them properly.... Not. I sent them all with a bowl full of Formented Feed. That should help also each box has enough chicks and a 72hr heat pack to help with warmth. So hopefully that helps the survival of them. No matter what when you get them take a picture of the contents of the box. We will file a claim and if you have any dead ones I will replace them after the claim is received.

The darn po drives me crazy sometimes.
