agreedMost of PP rules are not set up for live animals, they're set up for eBay. The same company that owns eBay owns Paypal which is generally set up for "goods". Requesting that the buyer return the "item" for a full refund is one of the selections in the drop down menu for the seller to choose in how to resolve a dispute. The seller is a JA for choosing it and you've got a case that's out of Paypals typical wheelhouse. I'm with the others and encourage you to call PP and explain the situation. Any reasonable person would not request that you send the chicks back.
I have had an incredibly hectic week and a half. I can't even begin to catch up. I am so sorry to hear of all the shipping problems and sick birds and sick people.I hope everyone is doing much better soon.
For flu, I always use Boiron Oscillococcinum - it is homeopathic, can be taken as a preventative and is available at most pharmacies these days. Maybe some chick pics will cheer everyone up.![]()
I just hatched 7 sexlink Maransfrom DMRippy out of 8 shipped eggs
(one was clear). I believe there are 4 girls and 3 boys, is that correct?![]()

I also hatched 8 chicks from my EE roo over BR hens, which I believe are sexlink also, in blue and black!Looks like 5 girls and 3 boys with puffy cheeks. I wasn't expecting the blue.![]()

Night all!
No, I was busy today. I had a swap meet and had coops and brooders to clean and the sick chicks to take care of. I am tired and am tired of dealing with this person. I never even emailed them back after the first email stating the condition of the chicks. Once they got snotty I opened a pp claim and let them handle it. Pretty much I loose either way. I paid for dead and sickly chicks, or I pay to ship them back which takes away from my refund. If it is the sellers fault the seller should have to pay to ship items back not the buyer.

I'm so sorry! It seems like odds are stacked against us sometimes. I'm so glad to have this thread where I know most of the individuals on here well enough to know that I'm getting quality birds. I can only imagine how disappointing it must be to spend so much money and then to have this happen!![]()

Michelle, I hope that is the last one you lose. I know someone on here that ordered 5 from him and was going to give them to me for some of our swaps and I think all of them died. I know for sure 3 didNo, I was busy today. I had a swap meet and had coops and brooders to clean and the sick chicks to take care of. I am tired and am tired of dealing with this person. I'm so sorry to hear that!!! I've had a headache for the past 2 days, but THANK GOD no stomach issues. Get well soon!!!
Not to make light of your illness, but I think maybe if you are only given fermented feed, some Denagard, and some Apple Cider Vinegar, it should clear up.![]()
Hmmm... let's translate that prescription into human terms:
Fermented feed = some chicken soup with a glass of wine
Denagard = some aspirin for the aches & pains.
Apple Cider Vinegar = some unfinished grape vinegar (aka more wine). To wash down the aspirin, of course.
I give up, I'm skipping 2,300+ plus posts to the end.........................but I did get my taxes done today, LOL
LOL! Yeah, I do that too. We're a chatty crowd. But a really cool crowd. Or really nerdy chicken people. Or both.

Bahaha!!! Can you imagine what that would look like?
But seriously: Cochins. They're huge, broody balls of fluff & are half the size of a carport when they flatten out over a nest of eggs. I love my broody cochins!
