If you have a Vitamin Shoppe nearby, they carry Bragg's in the gallon size.

Oh wait, do you want cider or cider vinegar?
well, I was going to make ACV but I'm getting some from Profti so maybe I'll stick with fermenting feed right now and if I need more do another side swap. One project at a time.

I have 3 Royal Palm turkey poults hatched and the 4th is pipped!

Question for the turkey people: how long can I expect my turkeys to keep laying eggs?

Mine did last year til mid-summer.

Ah see the Rcom mini that is on its way hatches the eggs laying on the side but this other incubator holds them the other way.

I have been reading and asking around. The thing I gathered to be the most important is to let them sit at room temp for like 8 hours before putting them in the incubator so that the sudden change in temperatures doesn't shock them.
If anyone else has any tips please don't hesitate to tell me this is my first time.

I had him when I was 15, yeah, that's it.................

No, I always say, if you are going to lie about your age, say you are older than you are. People will look at you and think, "man, she has held up really well". If you lie and say you are younger, they will look at you and think "what the h*ll happened to her?"

For perspective, I clearly remember in the '50's when everyone in the US went down to get their polio vaccine............a dose of vaccine on a sugar cube.

Quote: Guineas and peafowl. My turkey flock are crazy, when you try to talk, they all gobble in unison...........loudly............but they still don't beat the neighbor's guineas.

yep room temp, fat end up...I always leave mine in the incubator sitting upright in cartons for between 3-4 days after putting them in, to try to stabilize the aircells...they tend to get a little wonky or just downright loose and bubbly when shipped, depends on how our lovely postal service treats them. I think there is a thread on here somewhere about shipped eggs, will see if I can find it

Thank you so much guys for all the help!
So
Don't wash!
Leave set for 8 hours fat end up for room temperature
Place in incubator fat end up for 3-4 days then lathe down.

That's what I have for notes so far.
