Someone was filming the finish line and caught it, plus people trying to help remove the fencing to get emergency vehicles to the victims. Sitting here crying...I'm all wrapped up in building pens and such while this horrible thing is going on...those poor folks...

It is pretty terrible! All we can do is send thoughts and prayers. Obama is going on TV in 10 minutes to discuss it, but our prayers are greatly needed. Be careful out there in Chickenland, there is concern about other congregated areas.

I have one little lonely white midget hanging out with me while I am working on the computer, cuddling up under my chin. His chicken buddies that I was growing out for a neighbor went home today. He is so sad.....I think I am creating a little monster with this computer cuddle time, but what else are you going to say to a lonely, little sad turkey who escaped juvie to wander the house and find me?

Talking 'bout turkeys, one of my Narr girls like to take my (wait for it..) cigarettes out of my mouth whenever I'm sitting in their pen just chilling...I think she is giving me a hint. And she also just helped herself to my bowl of soup! Got at least 5 good bites out of it while I'm trying to fend her off. Yall call yourselves "crazy chicken" ladies, but I think I'm really there....
