Didn't get done what I wanted to do today but it wasn't wasted. Got the Legbar coop and pen completely cleaned. They are happy. Got chicks to drop off to new owners. And that was the best darn $90 I spent on chicks in a long time. Obviously I am keeping the first 2 on the list. I'm not sure about the rest though. Oh no, the Breda fowl will be going.

3 Augsburgers, 6 double blue laced Barnevelders, 3 Breda Fowl, 2 partridge Orps, 3 red Orps.
I will take the orps off your hands...lol
what's wrong with Breda?

Funny post lol
That ain't no joke....I bet your hens and my hens share a Chickbook and Backyard People website... My Sumatras were laying every day, then I put them up for swap and now the LF likes to poke holes in her eggs, and the Bantam just quit laying period....I have been able to collect one egg from each, but looks like I will be putting them in the inkie, cause they will be too old to ship!

Wow, busy group today! I am heading out to get some eggs in a little bit here. I have had some swap early, some one time, and some I am waiting on. I set a specific date for arrival on a lot of my swaps, but have since purchased multiple incubators so that is not as critical. I have faith that swaps will be completed as they can. I know that life throws some curve balls sometimes. I am mother of 7 (my four step children live with us 50% of the time; half the week with their mom and half with us. I consider them "my" children). We have an autistic child, a diabetic child, an ADHD child (really all of them probably are, but this one is on the extreme end...she forgot she was climbing a ladder and fell of and broke her arm once), and a two year old. My life is crazy and I assume that others' lives are just as crazy for many various reasons. Besides, delay in receiving eggs gives me more time to put together my pens

I am re-designing my mini coop tonight to fit the six chicks that need to move out. The mini coop was designed for two chicks in the summer, so it is not really bit enough

Anyhow, I love this group, just want to let y'all know that. And, I really love all you dedicated moderators here.

I saw someone looking to swap Rhode Island whites if anyone knows who they are I think I would like to try and get a side swap.

Also if anyone knows of anyone with bantam RIR that would be a most welcome addition to my flock.

I have a quad of RIW's but they aren't laying yet, but they are 4 months old so it shouldn't be much longer, possibly summer.
