Krafty has them and so does dmrippy.Hi April! The Super Blue Egg Layers are a breed of chicken, not OE or EE's, they are a very specific hybrid that produces only very blue eggs at the rate of the Leghorn.![]()

Can't wait to get my sbel for her next month.![]()
Krafty to the rescue!!!! Thanks!
Hi everybody!!!No, I'm not dead
I've just been flat out between writing and chickens and springtime chores. Plus I just spent a VERY busy weekend over in Indiana with CPL, which was lots of fun. She's in the middle of moving the household and all what? 300 chickens? out to the farm and getting the house ready to sell. It was great, actually -- babymakes6 was over with the kids helping pack up the house, so Sophie helped me corral a bunch of the chickens to move. She's a ACE chicken catcher! So I got to play with kids and LOTS of chickens, and see Rachael and Heather, too!![]()
Oh man, the farm is BEAUTIFUL. I can't wait to go visit after everybody's all settled into their new digs. We were shuffling chickens into coops as fast as they were being erected, lol! Getting them all sorted into their proper houses -- I felt like the Hogwarts Sorting HatNow I'm home and working on doing that with mine, because a lot of them are getting reeeeeaaaal close to laying age, yay!!!![]()
One BIG announcement that's important to the thread -- and I'll be pm-ing everyone I have listed below separately, too -- CPL sent her Isbar hens home with me. I have two beautiful isbar roos and no hens (I thought one was a hen, darn it), and she'd lost her roo and didn't have an adult replacement yet. Soooo... everybody with CPL isbar swaps, I've got them! And will be filling them asap. I'm finishing up the new coop for them today, then I have to put them with the new boys and make sure they're doing their "job" and fertility-test. As soon as I've confirmed fertility, I'll start sending eggs out.
Here's the list of swaps owed that I have:
#2372 -- Walli
#4248 & 4511 -- RedBrushFarms
#4270 x2 -- filumene
#4300 -- chicken fever
#4431 -- Herducks
#4499, 4529, 4513 -- Swindledana
#5040 -- gamebirdsonly
#7557 -- srpaint
#5742 -- brookhavens
#7368 -- crfarm
IF YOU HAVE AN ISBAR SWAP with crazypetlady that's not listed above, PLEASE pm me with the swap # and whether it was on the old swap thread or the current one so I can verify and add it to the list.![]()
Obviously, these will take a while to fill them all, but I'll get 'em done, by golly!
I have to get back to work in a second -- VERY busy week here, and then I'm off to the Troy swap this weekend. Anybody else going to that? It should be a good weekend for itI miss having time to hang out on the thread!

krafty, did you get that cockeral yesterday from FB rare breed?
check with Jessica Jones on the same site, she has listings on there nowNo, Not the one for sale, but the other lady that posted is someone that I was already trading with and she has 2 cockerels for me that will be unrelated to mine. The other girl got her cockerel from Fancy chicks too. So now to find a gold laced... I am hoping that one of the wonderful ladies on here that have some gold laced eggs in the bator end up with a cockerel or 2 i can buy/trade...
