Ok, I just have to ask, has anyone on here hatched chicks from a swap on here that were supposed to be SFH that had feathered legs and a beard?????

The regional rate box postage MUST be paid online and the label printed at home in order to receive the regional rate. You can not get it by going to the PO. It is well worth investing in a scale and printing your postage at home if you do a lot of swapping.

Well that will certainly be my next purchase!

RIR's and Buff Orps were my first chickens...but they were from TSC (hatchery) and those buffs were the meanest dang chickens, so I got rid of them and stuck with the reds....until BYC

I want lionheads too, they had a beautiful set at the auction last month, they looked like a calico cat, but they didn't call them calico, and I can't remember the color. They didn't know gender, so I didn't bid at all, they ended up going for 75.00 each.

Definitely NOT SFH, but I am curious what kind of a mix would add feathered legs AND a beard?

I only have received SFH's from papa (I think) and I got some white ones that are exactly the way they are supposed to be- all the rest are mine that I hatch. Wonder if they were icelandics instead? Still wouldn't make sense on the beard.
