I have started a 2nd swap page for all the items I have available for swaps. I will be adding more as I get to them. I have tons of stuff in my house to get rid of.

Yay!  Aren't they the cutest camo marked chicks you have ever seen?

Well they are still a bit wet, but gosh they are tiny! Kiddo wants me to bring them to school for him to show everyone. I'll think about it, but no promises since I have a ton of work to get done here before the weekend which will be all about gardening. And it looks like it will be nice enough to put all the chicks/poults out for some sun. Yeah! We love the sun!

As for limits I say when my hubby stops buying toys I will put a limit on the birds. Boys and their toys, they just get bigger and more expensive. Since hubby doesn't support the chickens he has no place to complain. Especially since he loves to eat them or their eggs. He's also always trying to give HIS friends our chicken eggs. That's feed man!

I'm getting hissed at by one of the turkeys this morning. I think we have a broody again. Guess I better build another cage soon. A mothers work is never done. Sigh.

Our SFH are laying pretty well inspite of the recent nasty rain. They are pullet eggs, but showing good fertility when checked.

Did you get the stamp and ink from the linked site posted earlier?  They are very expensive!  Nice looking marks on the eggs though.  I will have to keep looking, darn it.

I ordered the ink from premier1supplies.com (it's the food grade ink that won't boil off) and I am going to use it with a foam ink pad and a micro peg stamp (small stamp on a wooden peg so it's easy to hold & apply). The stamp was $2.00. :)

I know some think the egg stamp link I shared is expensive, but if you want a custom stamp they are very reasonable. They are working with us to see if we can recreate our logo in a stamp. Since its so intricate I am happy to pay their price if it can be done. If you just want to use letter or a simple image then yes they are higher than buying at a craft store and just buying the food grade ink.

I'm hoping they can do my logo too. Haven't heard from them yet.
