Unfortunately an intact rottie is most likely a stolen one. I know that's not what you want to hear but it's all too true. You see missing dogs on CL all the time. I just hope he wasn't picked up for other things.He did have a orange collar with his reg. as well as a dog tag with our names and numbers. We are leaning towards stolen at this point. I mean, that dog was happy to meet anyone, he would have been happy and excited to jump in a strangers cat![]()
I have been all these placed this morning, plus additional phone calls;
4 vets
Police station
City hall
Gas stations
Animal control
Shelter
Newspaper to run an ad
Post office
Came home printed off more flyers and going to go drive around again.
I am not breeding for show, but would like to breed to standard. This makes selling easier(less explanation or excuses) for you and it's just fair for the buyer. So the closer to standards I can start the better. I do have very mixed feelings about obsessing over breeding standards, but do enjoy the individual characteristics of each breed. I think if we just enjoyed breeding for looks the individual breeds would naturally stay to standard. I think anybody would like the looks of a breeder bird over a hatchery bird, but I think nearly breeding egg laying out of a chicken is just awful. Just my opinion.Whites and Blacks are some of the safest sadly lol Fewer color issues for sure.
Oh I know. That's kind of why I am letting so many vets and such know. If a sweet 95 lb rottie shows up with a new owner, they might call.Unfortunately an intact rottie is most likely a stolen one. I take it he wasn't micro chipped at all. The one company we have our micro chips through sends out emails when an animal is lost in our area. Well worth getting. I sure hope he comes home.Oh I know. Whoa. Fat Elvis is a big boy! He's just spectacular! I like Isbar roo with no brown too
OMG, Sah, I was so obsessed with pretty chicken pictures this somehow flew right by me yesterday. Oh man! Rotties are such wonderful dogs -- I wish there was something I could say to help or cheer you up. That bites. I will be hoping hard he comes home!No microchip. We actually have an appointment to get him fixed in two weeks, and we planned on having him chipped then![]()
