Holy cow!!! It seems like this swap goes insane anytime that I am in school, doing homework, or at my internship. lol...

I was stuck in traffic during the swap frenzy earlier lol! I missed the chicks again!

I would say find other breeders for whatever it is you are looking for. They don't have great CS. And as I said, they tied my money up for 6 days even though my payment was instant.

Yeah, I think I'll be doing that instead

That would be irritating. Most people around here haven't heard of the imported breeds. what would you do with a bunch of rooster know one has heard of?

Now that's just wrong! It's so tough to get rid of extra roos. It's bad enough she had to re-home them, but first she had to FEED them!

thanks for sending me here to this thread...I didn't realize I shouldn't be chatting on the other thread....it was just : "swap, swap, swap" all fast and furious and I was pretty confused (deep breath)

I have a friend with an incubator...dont actually have one of my own. unless one of my girls goes broody, I guess. but they are all pretty young. I am only getting around 4 eggs a day total (barnevelders are too young yet...I think they won't be laying until spring)

Welcome to the craziness! And I just have to say that the pysanky eggs in your avatar pic are beautiful! Did you create them? I have wanted to learn since I ran across a website a few years ago, but I just don't have the extra time to devote to it.

I'm not a big fan of GFF right now.  It stinks to pay a lot for import birds and they are not what they are suppose to be.  Like egg color.  You would think GFF would have better Customer service then they do.

Cpl and i went together on 3 of their 12+ chick auctions. I only got a list of what we got in the first auction, the other 2 i am still waiting for a list . They are about 5-6 weeks old? Or older? I have requested a list of chicks that were sent 5 times with still no response. Glad i know what some of them are, but alot are still a mystery. I will think twice about buying anything else....

These were my White Legbars when they hatched, I thought they were pretty obviously a pair. I need to take a picture of them now, they are right at POL. The both developed quite a crest.
