Yes, I ordered a small # of chicks from them a few months ago. I got almost what I ordered (one black Breda which was supposed to be blue, no biggie). All chicks arrived alive and had sustenance in the box, etc. My only complaint is that they shipped a whole week earlier than what they told me, so I was totally unprepared for them to arrive. I did not receive any heads up that they had shipped until the PO called me and told me I had chicks waiting, lol. I also had no success trying to find out info about the bloodlines of my CL, since they are suppsoed to have several lines. I would really like to know where they are from in the UK, which lines are which, all I was told is that they would be "breedable". Literally thats all I got. However based on the fact that my chicks arrived healthy and in good shape I was generally satisfied.
That sounds like what I've been told too. For a company that claims to care so much about keeping separate bloodlines and maintaining purity, they share NONE of this with their customers. We have no idea what lines we're getting or even have!! UGH.

Well, I could never afford some of their birds, or really would I be willing to spend that much... But OMG do I want Bielefelders after looking at their website!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cpl and i went together on 3 of their 12+ chick auctions. I only got a list of what we got in the first auction, the other 2 i am still waiting for a list . They are about 5-6 weeks old? Or older? I have requested a list of chicks that were sent 5 times with still no response. Glad i know what some of them are, but alot are still a mystery. I will think twice about buying anything else....
I honestly wouldn't... I won't. Not ever again.

yes, I love doing them! Pysanki are the reason I got into raising chickens. storebought eggs dont take the dye evenly (conveyer-belt roller compression rings) and have thin shells. and the local backyard egg people around here do mostly brown eggs...I need white.

so I got dorkings. which I love...so friendly and level-headed (for chickens) and Barnevelders because I think they are gorgeous.

and I discovered all the other pretty chickens out there and I want one of everything...LOL. like flowers in my yard that move around. I now also have Welsummers and marans and a lone americauna that is a sweetheart. who knew Chickens could be so addictive?

(hmmm...I wonder if I offered pysanki eggs in trade if people would want them....)

I ended up with an extra in my last shipment that I just figured out the breed... they were so vague when I asked.. and it took 2 weeks to get a reply.. very disappointed. Just being honest here.

if you think 'chickens' are addictive, just wait until you get ,,,, wait for it,,,,,, an INCUBATOR

your life will never be the same, nor your house if brood in it, dinner around the chicks, etc and we all say "Welcome" with open arms.
