Thanks guys!!! Thank goodness Im having a huge chickenstock at my house June 1st!!! At least I know there will be some friends selling chicks that Im getting or will buy!! anyone from NY wanna go or close if you can make the trip...come on up!!! Big BBQ and raffles and such!!! bring chicks to sell dang it!! Hahahaha

Im at a total loss for this years hatches

this is my 3 rd hatch of the season and once again terrible...day 22 1 bresse out nothing else...not even a pip;( Im sickened by it all!!! It makes you want to give it up!!! Ive been waiting months to hatch all the eggs out and for what?? 1 chick out of every 13-14 eggs??? And the pathetic 11 chicks that I did manage to hatch out ..from 66 eggs so far...9-10 are roos....what am I doing wrong!!!!???? I have two brinseas full of eggs too and I feel like a total failure with all these fabulous eggs ...fabulous care you folks did in packing and shipping and I have virtually nothing to show for it!! Bad day is all for me thats all sorry to be a Debbie downer

I have noticed that fertility has been down in all the breeds I own and I have heard the same from a lot of folks around the country, people are struggling all over. i dont know if it's the weather or the feed mixes just don't know but I haven't ever had so much trouble hatching egg's.

For some, it's not fertility. The eggs are developing, the chicks just aren't hatching.

Going to do a dry hatch my first time using a hovabator let's see how bad I can screw this up eh?
So far the temperature is holding fine at 37.5 c
Lets hope that stays that way. The automatic turner is working like a charm.

My one BLRW in the r com mini hasn't moved or externally pipped. It's in lockdown so I can't take it out to candle it to see if it internally pipped.
About how long should I wait after day 21 before calling it quits.

I'm having tons of ship eggs develop of the way and then die on day 20!

that's been my problem....out of I don't know how many LO eggs I got from a couple peeps on here, was a bunch, I had two hatch, made it to lockdown and died. I am thinking after dry incubating, they are being drowned when I put them in lockdown and adding humidity. next hatch I am just going to add a small sponge and try to keep humidity around 45% and see if that helps....sure hope I can figure it out by the time these Jubilee eggs are ready for lockdown..... OH! and good morning!

I think this is what's happening to some of mine. It's frustrating.
