Good morning all. I just wanted to remind everyone that when you are giving thanks today to not forget about all of our brave men and women serving in the armed forces, without them this day might not be possible. Say a little prayer for them and Happy Thanksgiving to all.

There is a swap thread for turkeys?? I HAVE to stay away from that. But I so want to check it out!!

Congrats on the chicks. I always get so excited to wake up to the babies.

Of course, happy turkey day. We celebrated this past weekend. So, today is just another day... Husbands at work, busy day for him.

I have three Blue Barred Rocks from DMRippy pipped! The last time I had these in the bator, NINE hatched, of which 6 were blue and 3 black. They are about 6 weeks old and are turning out soooo pretty, and these three are from her GS roo so I am super excited!! I'll have to post some pics of how the older ones are turning out, of the six blues I think probably 4 or 5 are cockerels, but they are really handsome! If anyone wants one, let me know, I will probably only keep one

I'm at home solo today, too many newborns to leave and the rest of my fam flew out of state to see other fam...I don't mind at all, the weather is beautiful, sun is shining and life is good. It's hard not to reminisce about past Thanksgivings...my most memorable was the 2004 holiday season. On Thanksgiving Day I was in Fallujah, and delivered a Thanksgiving meal to the ground troops who were fighting in the middle of the city (I was a Motor T/Logistics Officer). It was an honor to be able to provide that little bit of comfort to them. Definitely a Thanksgiving I will never forget.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day full of family and feasting

Sah, if there were a swapping thread just for turkeys, I would SO be in trouble! No, I was just talking about looking to see if any turkeys [popped up on our regular pp swap thread :) They do, on occasion!
