So the hatching gods must have been smiling down on me...just had my first 100% hatch from shipped eggs...Juststruttin sent me 10 OE's, 5 OE/DLBB and 5 Legbar/Penedesenca, and all TEN hatched!! I even have a couple of blue and one that looks like it may be a splash. I am still in shock and absolutely over the moon

Oh, and forgot to add I also had some CL hatch, five pullet chicks and one roo, I can't believe it! LOL.

Sending out good hatching vibes in the hopes that the good luck catches!!!

Oh I need some of that hatching luck!

Did anyone get the Purina coupon from a BYC email? $10 off of 2 bags of Purina Layer feed? I had to use IE because Chrome wouldn't work. Just right click the picture and copy link address. Paste it into IE and hit enter. Should be good to go from there.

Yeah, I don't know either! I've got two that were supposedly BCMs (in Meyer's leftovers bin) but I'll be darned if, from chickhood on thru to 8 weeks now, I can tell 'em apart from my aussie chicks. It's fine with me if they're aussies! This is my "table egg" mutt flock, anyway

Australorps ave a different sheen to their feathers, and they will have a different shape. And they have.. a certain look in their eye. Its black and shiny, and the BCM's are not.

I can always tell Onyxia from the heard of FCBM's even without the feet, but it took a while to get to that point the first weeks were interesting!

Yes, I got it. Chrome worked for me. I also signed up for the Purina rewards thing... Didn't know until after I already signed up that you were supposed to enter promo code GIFT to receive a second $10 off coupon

It didn't say that on the BYC email, but I was nosing around Purina's website and saw it there

Yeah, I didn't see that either -- woulda been nice if they included it. HOWEVER -- do you know how to clear cookies on your browser? If you do, clear the cookies, then go back and print out the coupon again. And again, if you want Of course, they all still expire Dec. 31, so printing out more than you can redeem before then would be kinda silly
