Is anyone setting eggs for a Christmas hatch or is everyone holding out for the big NYE group hatch?

It's a great baby day here! I have splash orp and SFH popping out from Walli, SFH from Beth, and little MF leghorns from Deanna popping out everywhere!!

Whee! How very cool! I've got SFH from Walli resting right now from their arduous journey!

On that subject, actually... GRRR! Mansfield used to have a postal sorting station. They've apparently closed it. My eggs NOW go from Kentucky to Cincinnati, all the way over to Pennsylvania, THEN back to me. Which means priority mail now takes a day longer to get to me.

I am not amused.

I hear you. The postal service rarely amuses me. It's always something.

The killer is, Cincinnati to me? Two hours driving time. Cincinnati (west side of Ohio) all the way across the state over to PA then back to me? About seven hours driving time. They're sending 'em two hundred miles east, then back ninety miles west, instead of simply sending them a hundred miles north.

No..... don't say that!! Ugh. If it weren't for the really nice people working in our local post office, I'd have given up on them entirely. If only they could all be so conscientious and caring everyone would have good hatches and live chicks.
