You did great!! The rules are on the first page of the swap thread...

Basically every swapper gets 24 hours each week for their swaps to be posted... all swaps, not just each one... so if your offer had been up for 24 hours and not been claimed, it would roll back to the previous offer and you would not be able to swap for the remainder of the week... so the moderators suggest adding something to the offer, like Paypal or other eggs if you see your offer isn't being taken... it helps keep the thread going... Applies to all swaps though, so if one swap is up for 10 hours, then the next swap for 10 hours, the 3rd swap could only be up for 4 hours before needing to be rolled back...

Don't be offended if your offer isn't taken, I think a lot of swappers incubators are getting filled up now and some of us have to wait till spring to incubate...

Not ME.... I have only received 2 swaps from this thread

I am flexible on shipping, but at this point spring is looking pretty good, but I am still going to be hatching, just much smaller..... UNLESS more pullets start laying

Ha ha I'm learning. In guessing this is a better place for questions. So what is the 24 hour rule?

You have a total of 24 hrs in any week to have your offer up without it being claimed and then you are done swapping until 12:01AM of the following Sunday. Say your first offer is claimed in 2 hrs, your second in 3 hours, and your third took 19 hrs. That is 24 hrs total and you would be done for the week, even if you haven't reached your alloted total of 7swaps for the week (or however many CPL decides we get in a week )

That's putting it mildly! I've got four pens and have ten breeds on order! Right now I've got my laying hens in the "official" chicken shed, my "babies" in a horse stall I really need to build a run for, and by spring need to build six or seven more coops. (Need to keep 'em small and portable

). And yet I still keep watching the swap thread to see what else gets posted!

It's usually not an issue unless you find you have an offer sitting there for an extended length of time. Not that I'm trying to encourage you or anything
