To improve the barring you need to put her with a GSBR Roo you got too. Your roo looks to have a single copy of the barring gene too, if I remember correctly it was a BR x Blue (not sure if it was a roo or hen that was barred) For a few generations you will not want to use the roos, just till you get the barring up to speed. I am on my 3rd generation and they are MUCH improved over my first cross. These next babies will be the best yet! Good luck! BTW you have a head start over me, your birds came from a GSBR and you have more GSBR to work with. I started with just hatchery BR and Blues..... now on this generation, I have a GSBR Roo to work with.

I'm going to have to be patient and wait until Thursday to claim anything anyway, because I forgot I already spent my "play money" this week. I may have to increase my play money...just a smidge. Being responsible with money isn't much fun. I was completely fine with it until I discovered chickens.

I just opened my bator and chicks came popping out from every shelf, lol I think it is a 100% hatch -1 white leghorn that still hasn't pipped. Soooo I lost that cheat sheet you sent I think I see splash Marans? And all 4 blue eggs with L or ML are lav amers? And TONS of blue barred rocks. Some white chick with a spot on it's head? A sex linked maran? I didn't expect them until tomorrow so I didn't have the hatching baskets ready. There are a lot of either blue,splash or lav chickies.
