Ha!draye, where are your dellies from?
Just going to repost this. I sent my eggs to swindledana and the confirm # is 03120090000165573192
May I continue swapping please![]()
The little one playing peek-a-boo in the back looks like another Orp. Legs and beak are exactly the same as the first one. I think the front one will be a beautiful blue, the other could be, or it could be splash.
Walli - these are the 7 chicks that hatched from your eggs. Two eggs had been marked Orps but only one made it to lockdown (front chick) and the others are all SFH. There is one squished in the back there that is the same color as the Orp but with a yellow belly. Do you get SFH in that color? Two other SFH eggs made it to lockdown, one was peeping at me for over a day, internally pipped but then died (that one was almost all yellow with a faint stripe down its back) and the other didn't do anything.
So far they have been happy and healthy. Hoping for some hens to go with the roos that I already have. Thanks again!![]()
That is what I was thinking too about the one in the back. The eggs must have just not been labelled like the other two. I love Orps and the Blues - Trying to replenish my BBS Orp pen after something got to them this summer. I have mostly blacks that are growing up, but I do have a couple blues and no splash; so these two will fit in there nicely. The little one playing peek-a-boo in the back looks like another Orp. (Walli got her Orps from me-some, anyway, and now Rachael's friend has them) LOVE the blues!![]()
