It's a great day for hatching!! Eight of my ten Blue Barred Rocks from DMRippy hatched through the night and the last one is pipped, and I have four SFH from Bhep pipped also! I was a tad worried about the SFH but it looks like they will be right on time unlike the rocks who were early, lol.

For those of you who want to have good hatches with shipped eggs, I can't recommend DMRippy's rocks highly enough, this is the third 90% hatch I have had with them, and my Bhep eggs are 9 of 12 surviving, awesome

With paypal you can make a new shipping label by clicking any transaction that you shipped to in the past then click on the transaction details, at the bottom of the page click on 'ship another' and then change the ship to address and package weight and service.

We need pics please.... these are the ones with my GSBR roo right? I am going to set the next few eggs I get.... I am down to one a day most days. They are going to molt since I moved them outside. I guess I will be waiting on the new pullets to pick up the slack soon.

Ok here's a pic of the three that are the most fluffed out. The one with the leg band is one of your project chicks. I had one that was marked 1BR so I banded that one too just in case, lol.

I checked my eggs in lock down when I got up this morning - nothing. I just went back to "double check" and there sat a beautiful Silver Phoenix chick!! I want it to be a her so it is HER. I only have a young trio and this was the first egg. I was amazed when it began to develop and now in shock that I have a CHICK!!
5 years ago today my daughter woke up in heaven. I know she is well now, but my heart is still broken. It was really nice to see a new little life peeking up at me out of the bator. God is Good.
Finishing up 8 new chicken runs today so got to get off soon and get to work. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Ok here's a pic of the three that are the most fluffed out. The one with the leg band is one of your project chicks. I had one that was marked 1BR so I banded that one too just in case, lol.

They are adorable!! I really like the coloring on the middle one. It looks like...a color that completely escapes my brain at the moment and will have to be revisited later but I love that color. lol
