Man it is HARD to tear myself away from this site! I have soooo many things to do to prepare for winter here....plus an orphan baby bunny in my home who is determined to eat anything he can get his mouth on.

I think I'll just let him chew while I have fun here and pretend to myself that I'm going to get everything done today.

If I owe you Turkey or Duck eggs they will go out tomorrow. If I owe you BBS Orp. eggs now, non English my friend and I bumble fingered the Orp eggs today and they all got smashed. I will have more next week. If you want to wait until Spring and get BBS ENGLISH Orps instead let me know, I just bought a flock of those.

If I owe you silkie or serama eggs then I must have overlooked you and please let me know, except Chiquita, I will PM you.

On the MF d'uccles they are still on strike.

If no one claims my serama eggs I am setting them tomorrow if you would like serama chicks and are overnight from any of these post offices Greenville, OH Muncie, IN Winchester IN Ridgeville IN. I would be happy to send you at least 6 serama chicks in place of something I owe you in 3 weeks, providing they hatch.

Hi everyone! I am just a lurker on the swap thread until I can get my flock separated out into breeding pens again and know that I can offer pure eggs. I have a small flock of Basque (Euskal Oiloa, Marraduna Basque) and a small flock of Lavender and Black split Ameraucanas that are laying now. I'm really excited about my new additions - I have some juvenile  BLRWs (1 cockerel & 4 pullets) that I recently acquired direct from Jerry Foley that should be laying by spring. 

I think it's a really great idea that some of you have been offering a back up PayPal payment in the event that something happens to your flock that would make you unable to fulfill obligations for spring eggs. I am sorry to say that I have an example of why an alternate should be offered. I had an awesome little flock of Olandsk Dwarfs and a predator recently killed all but my rooster and one hen. Had I participated in the swap and offered spring eggs, I would have been unable to fulfill that obligation.

I'll keep lurking for now and will have to get more information on how to get cleared to swap when I have eggs available.  I can't wait to join in!
