Me too - Prayers

Oh, good...Glad you got them! Merry Christmas!
The little one was from a friend of mine's Bantums. I don't know what kind though. I just thought they were awfully cute eggs. I think the other one was one of my dorkings.

Oh My Gosh!! I got the eggs and they are soooo much more beautiful "in person" I am in awe of your talent..... My sisters are going to be so happy with their gifts. (and I was overjoyed with the extra for me) They arrived safe and sound through USPS but I am afraid of dropping them myself !!
Thanks again,
Billie Sue

We want pictures!!! I have no artistic talent at all and just can not imagine how someone can take an egg and turn it into something as beautiful as PG's pictures.

Just an FYI: New postal rates have been released

  • First-Class letter rate up to one-ounce will increase from $0.45 to $0.46.
  • Postcards change from $0.32 to $0.33.
  • Certified Mail increases from $2.95 to $3.10.
  • Priority Mail® Small Flat Rate Box was $5.35 but will change to $5.80.

I don't know if they want me stating names, but at least two of us have featherbabies in the mail that did not arrive when they were supposed to. All information says they are past guaranteed delivery time. USPS verified they messed up on mine and they should have been on a plane last evening, they were not on that plane. We are still unsure where my friends' baby chicks are at this time (she is also a swapper) and unsure of where mine are as well.

If anyone can spare some prayers or positive thoughts, we would appreciate it...very sad right now. Mine are 2 Serama just beginning their "cockerel/pullet" stage; very young. Hers are brand new baby chicklets.

Thanks

praying everyone's featherbabies and eggs arrive safely!

sending positive thoughts and keeping my fingers crossed for the two of you.

Thanks everyone.

I opened up an "express mail investigation" which...I have no idea what that means, but they followed through on it. I was called and told that they didn't even make it through the arrival scan at their en route facility. I don't have anything left to do except wait, and pray...and wait and pray some more.

In other news, my other pair had poopy problems today of very stinky proportions. I had to give the pullet (Annie) a bath because my cockerel (Cowboy) decided to strategically place a huge dollop of cecal poop alllll over her back (and I mean all over). If you know what cecal poop is you know what a nasty experience that was. lol I clean out their poo at least three times a day and I couldn't figure out what smelled so dreadfully awful. Then I picked up Annie and...my hand found out real quick what smelled so dreadfully awful. In the process I managed to smear it all over her belly and side as well as the rest of her back, just due to handling her - and all over my hand.

On the plus side - they enjoyed bathtime and both fell asleep.

Edited to add: Annie is a chocolate pullet, hence why I couldn't see the poo all over her until I'd picked her up to say hello.
