I was getting the chicks used to the dogs and he hoped onto her head. I have very good dogs.

now THAT's friggin adorable!!! Berner coloring? but looks like a smaller dog maybe?

Merry Christmas everyone! or Happy Holidays if you prefer. I am sitting here drinking my coffee heavilly laced with hazelnut creamer and perusing the books santa gave me for Christmas. The chickens somehow gave me some deviled-egg carriers, a new angelfood cake pan and cake splitter and some eggies. Not sure how they wrapped them, but that's who the labels say the gifts came from. The goats gave me more knitting needles and a couple of knitting pattern books.

No incubator, but my dad gave me a $50 gift certificate to amazon that might become a Brinsea octogon!

She is a border collie. She is very good with all the chicks. All my dogs are.

My guys are great with the chickens, too. and when we have a chicken indoors, they clean up after them!!!!!

You all are lucky to have chicken friendly dogs. I have 3 murdering min-pins they can kill a chicken in seconds. I of course had the dogs before the chickens or I would have gotten different dogs. Min-pins were made for rodent control, they don't know the difference between pets and vermin. We have lost many a rabbit , guniea pig and chicken. They do however keep the rats at bay. Any mouse or rat that gets in our house/garage doesn't stand a chance with 3 min-pins and 5 cats all super duper hunters.
