Well, see? You're home safe and *now* you can watch the swap thread! I had to stop... Temptation was getting too rough to handle!

I have duck eggs in my incubator. It is day 7 and no veining...how much longer should I give them?
Quote:
I don't toss till day 14 especially if I have any doubt at day 7. Day 10 should be a good time too. I just don't look at them that often.
You better get your stalking in, I'm gonna be done for a while after the NYE backwards swap.
You and me both, post Christmas we are broke, hahaOh my word!!! The thread went crazy and I missed both Sebbies and Barthuners!!!![]()
Why do I have to be poor RIGHT NOW??? lol...
It is snowing here. This did not stop me from wanting to watch the swap thread on my drive home. I resisted the urge, so I can pat myself on the back for that at least![]()
Happy Friday all!!! I see the swap thread kept right on going last night. Such addicts! Yesterday was a great day here. Of the 15 eggs I put into lockdown on Christmas, 14 have hatched and the last one is not quite ready yet but the chick is quite active and strong. So I am quite happy with those results. On a sadder note, we have to put our roo down that has the sour crop. Figured out he has an impacted crop which is causing the other issue. He's lost weight and we just can't get the impaction gone. Thankfully it's not a hen. I have another roo growing out.
No, is that suppose to work?Sorry to hear about your roo. Did you try Epson salts and water for the impaction?
