I was wrong about the BCM, he must have gotten ahold of two of them because the shells are cracked.

All you can do is give it a shot. Keep an eye on the membrane so it doesn't dry out.

I remember reading somewhere that you could cut small pieces of band-aid breathable strips and place over small cracks and they would go ahead and hatch. I dropped one about a year ago and cracked it. It peeped at me so I wrapped it in a damp paper towel and put it in lock down. I removed it after 2 days to check. He had pipped through the crack and did fine.... Sometimes I wonder if what we do really helps, or if what was going to happen just happened anyway....

I am just going to leave it alone. It probably is pretty traumatized as it is and I don't want to take it out to do anything to it. I added another sponge to help keep membrane soft... Just hoping a blood vessel didn't rupture or anything. I thought about moving a humidifier into the closet just to try to stabilize the whole room... Then I thought I might be getting carried away. I then thought maybe I could turn my whole closet into an incubator, by putting a space heater and incubator in it  can you imagine?? That would hold a LOT of eggs... And cost an arm in electricity!
I'm just having a bad morning haha. Found out about the BCM eggs, my brooder isn't holding a good temperature, I dropped a container of wet rye seeds on my carpet, the kids are really whiney, my cell service or phone is not being reliable, I shut the sliding glass door and the outside light globe fell and shattered...
I'm done complaining! Sorry :D
