I don't think USPS will let you ship children...

Just don't mark what's in the box. If they don't know, they can't complain, right? And I don't think the xray will hurt this time, though the priority box football game might.

I have been reading up on customs. - It seems like a NIGHT TERROR. A broker would be the better option wouldn't it...

Not joking, they've had me in tears. A grown woman, in tears. Brokers have the connections with them. Try to use one that is in the same building/port as they are, they can take care of things immediately by going down the hall.

I don't know what it would be for eggs/live fowl but it was under 200 total for the broker fees. Totally worth it.

As for importing chickens, I will look into it thoroughly before trying anything. We are looking into it as an investment.

Also, if your putting up children I would like 2 boys please - around 4th to 5th grade would be GREAT

No, it's more stress than money. For about the same cost as one juvenile pair from GFF, you can import lots of eggs. Then look at the money you could be making in about six months when you start selling hatching eggs. I would totally do this if only I had the personality to take on the customs peoples. But a leader and a fighter I am not. I'll just have to offer support to whoever is willing to take on a partner?
