Hey, has anyone here fed their chicks gro-gel? I gave some to my last hatch but they didn't seem to care for it much. And honestly, I have a hard time feeding my kiddies anything that looks that much like Soylent Green!

My chicks eat gro gel plus b on days 1 and 2 and then they're on chick starter from day 3 onward (until it's time for layer feed). I like the results so I'll keep offering it.

My friend came over today to look at my geese... she is going to get them. And she has 2 MF Duccle hens, where I have 2 roos. She is trading me a hen for a roo, now we will both have a pair. Great Day!!

i know more of you must have little kids like me that keep you off this thing.

lots of happenings out here in the wild west. i sold my appleyards(oh soooooo beautiful, but soooo LOUD!!!), all my paint silkies died(i DO NOT want to talk about it, still ticked), BUT i have new exciting plans for the silkie pen after the holidays and into the spring

but i don't want to shoot myself in the foot, so y'all just have to wait until they get here. so for now i have a brooder full of baby whites that i hope will turn out fabulous.

Super cute!!! Oh they are pretty

Makes me wish my little Boston baby had some littermates...I need to post an updated pic of him, he's borderline obese since he's the only pup, so there's never any line for the buffet, and all he does is EAT! Seriously he spends more time eating than sleeping, it's abnormal, lol.

So sorry about your Silkies... I am sad for days after I loose one, can not imagine loosing them all...
