OK, what's going on Paypal has been up all day? I would take it, but I think I have pushed my limited resources on breeds about as far as it can go.

I think everyone's eggs this week and part of next are promised to someone for the NYD Hatch, or they're saving them for that themselves. That combined with a lot of hens going on vacation leads to a shortage of available eggs to swap. Give me about a week and a half and I''ll have eggs to offer again (after I fill a couple of pending orders).

Should we temporarily suspend the 24 hour rule? I think you have a very valid point about the lack of eggs.

Plus we have the NYE swap coming up. I'm trying to get all my current swaps caught up so I have some for the NYE swap.

Does anyone know where I can find vent plugs for the farm innovator incubator?? I've looked everywhere and can't find any...I lost the ones I had so I'm using papertowel to hold the plugs right now and its not doing a good job at all

I think there are a lot of good ideas here, but I also have to admit I think the swap has worked very well as a dictatorship

LOL! By which I mean, simply, I think the moderators have done an excellent job of running it so far, and I have every confidence they will continue to do so. And I have had some experience with trying to run things, including internet groups for various purposes, by committee -- baaaaad idea, in my experience. So if we're gonna vote on anything, I vote we make suggestions to the moderators which they can take under advisement, and implement what they feel appropriate.

You can try using playdough, that rubber stuff to hang posters on the wall, or anything you can mold into a plug.

HHHH!!! I can't take anymore stress!!! My baby is sounded a lot better, now my four year old is complaining about a spot just under his ear is hurting him really badly. It's a little swollen, and the temperature there is slightlyQEQa elevated, but it doesn't look red like a bite or anythig... Wondering if it could be a swollen gland? It hurts him for me to touch it, an it's right there under his ear where his jaw ends. Of course, I just got home from enjoying a few hours kid free trying to relax, an was feeling pretty good... And five minutes of being home, my stomach hurts from worrying about him. I called the doctors at exactly five o'clock- and of course they had switched off their phone!!

On another note- you guys have been super chatty!
