Most times GFF is the original importers. If you want to sell birds, you will lower your cost a bit to sell them. But if you sell enough you can still make your money back and a bit of profit too.

If I seen these in someones flock I would take a few steps back and ask" what is wrong with them chickens"???

Because they are the original importer of the breed, does that make "Joe Somebody" who has gotten eggs/birds from them able to sell their birds for more money? I mean if there are not that many here, are they not ALL from the "original" ones who came over?

They look diseased to me. Every time I see this picture reminds me of the elephant man. (I know there's a real name for that condition.) No, the birds don't have that disease. These are "ga dong tao" and are raised for their legs, a delicacy (I forget which country).

As long as none are pipped you don't have to worry about shrink wrapping, and even if you did have some pipped, a spritz with a spray bottle, or throw in a wet paper towel and the humidity won't dip too much.
