me too but it's only for the breeds I want! These are in my basement and will probably stay there for a LONG time. My NJ pullets and a speckled sussex cockerel are down there too. I am scared to put them out!

I got my Secret Santa yesterday and absolutely love all the goodies. Thank you sooo much. The little birdie shelf sitters are on my entertainment center so everybody can see them. The cook books will come in real handy. I get sick of making the same ol stuff.

WHAT??? You've got to be kidding! First of all, that is not only unethical on many levels, but secondly, by the time the eggs arrive to you from the sender, you sell them, and they go back out, the eggs will be well over a week old at the least!!!

What some people do is beyond me...

Seriously?!?!? I can't even imagine having the audacity to do something like that! Wow. Some people's children...... That's just sad.

Good morning everyone. I have gotten a ton of PM's about the re-swapping or selling of swaps for pp. every single one is against doing this due to the amount of record keeping it would involve. We are not going to allow this on any of our threads. While we can't control if you want your eggs sent to someone else we are not going to support this practice. The person who claimed the swap will remain the person of record and the person shipping eggs is only required to have contact with that person, unless arrangements are made with the sender. An example I have had a few people claim eggs for others, this if fine as long as the sender agrees to send the eggs to the 3 rd party.
We have also caught a swapper re-selling our eggs on e-bay this will not be tolerated. Many of us here are sharing our normally expensive eggs with everyone so that they may have the chance to own these awesome birds not for anyone to turn around and make money off of the generosity that is shown here on this swap.
Ok all the business stuff out of the way SWAP ON!

Personally... I think "buyers remorse" is NOT a responibilty the seller should have to take on.

I completely agree with this. If I claim it I'm taking it. If I don't want it for some reason, I'll give them away or sell them at a swap. But there is no need for me to make it more complicated for the person I'm getting them from.

Good morning, everyone! I'm catching up today; it seems I've missed quite a bit!

First I have to say thank you to my secret santa! I had a really long day at work yesterday, was feeling pretty crummy, and the weather was nasty. I got home pretty late and was a bit of a grouch until I realized I had a package on the table. Thank you Marie for the nice assortment of eggs! Are the project ones a mix of polish and silkie? How fun!

Congrats on the beautiful chicks! I know what you mean about being worried to put them out. I have the Bresse chicks in my 9 yr old's room. He is not quite thrilled about it lol!

Marie, I have 5 of your porcelain silkie eggs going on lockdown today! I can't wait to see the little fuzzies!

It's very sad about the swapper re-selling on eBay. I agree with all previous comments....that is wrong on ALL levels! Poor unsuspecting buyers, too. How disappointing.

I need to get on the ball and get my secret santa gift mailed out. I am on the last stage of making it, so I should hopefully have it completed by Wednesday night.

I'm so glad. They will be beautiful birds. The roo came from Bobbi Porto and won first place in BV. Normally paint isn't a color recognized but they put him in the variety catagory.
