Count me in as well!
We can take a trip to Southern PA (where my family lives) and stop and see Clarence on the way. Then we can meet Jeannie while we are there!

Sounds like a plan to me.

Ah, hadn't thought of that. I guess I just tend to take people at their word, until proven otherwise...................I do have an excellent memory, even at my advanced age!

I did sell 8 rare frogs to a guy in FL once. He told me how excited he was to raise/breed them. He then turned around and listed them for resale at a higher price and even used my original photos to advertise them. Irritated the heck out of me, but then he paid enough that my DH and I took a cruise in the Carribean, so what the heck!

Enough for a cruise??? Did those frogs have magical powers or something???

Must have, LOL. We were already booked for a week, when the $3,200 (+ shipping) money order came I said, let's book another week back to back!

And if you consider it starts out like this.

Eggs for breakfast?

Deb
I only WISH I had frogs that I could sell for that much. Then I would get a flock of Partridge Orps.

Um, breakfast? Maybe not.

That's not the norm though. It was one of those getting in on the ground floor kind of things. I was one of the few people that had them breeding. It's kind of like having the first pair of Jubilee Orps around. As soon as people start producing them, the price drops like a rock. Don't forget, I paid $1,600 for the four I originally bought. There isn't really a lot of money to be made in frogs, you mostly just keep what you like.

I have lots of frogs that sell for $20 and it takes at least 6 mos to get them there from the egg stage.

Of course, more than once I've gone to a frog swap and come home with $1,000+ in my pocket.

How are frog people craziness to chicken people craziness? I have us rated less then pigeon people but higher then most quail people. parrot people of course top the list. I could say this all in gamer girl terms, too, but I don't know if that would make sense to anyone.

I think snake people are by far the worse. I've seen some snakes with a 6 figure price tag on them. And you know there will be someone out there willing to pay it.
