I have to admit I am one of those that has yet to send their gift. I have an item I want to include that has to "process" for a while before it is ready. I hope to send mine out tomorrow, and I hope my wonderful person will forgive the delay. On a similar note this is a reminder that items should go out by Saturday. If you have not received your item or a DC number, please PM me, and I will check on them. I actually am hoping I am the only one left that has delayed this long, and I do beg forgiveness of my person.

While you're at it, come on down and help me with the..oh six or so..that I need. I'll treat you to some Cajun cooking or Southern Fried Catfish, your choice.

I think from the looks of the swap over the last couple of months that there are a bunch of us that will need to pens and very forgiving spouses.

I wasn't trying to lecture. I was just offering (hopefully valid) excuses for why I haven't sent mine yet. I copied that picture off the internet, but yes their are naturally "nekkid" chickens. According to an expert I know there is the possibility with any naked neck breeding of getting one of these. The Univerity of Arkansas has a whole pen of these that they have for their genetic experiments. That is the ugliest pen of chickens you have ever seen. They have to have heat lamps all but about 1 month during the summer and the roosters have to be kept away from the hens to keep them from tearing up their backs during breeding. I was up their in July and one had frozen to death the night before which if you have ever experienced a July night in Arkansas will make you realize how delicate these things are. Needless to say, I turned down the offer of eggs.
