He's actually okay with it all. He took it really well when I told him I needed 2 more pens in the Spring. And this is after I've said "that's the last pen." I've said that so many times. Don't think he believes it anymore.

This was Monday

Eggs and turners and blurry kitty (my phone-camera is really pathetically awful). Snapped a pic to share with you guys because I was all excited!!! Then couldn't find the little adapter card to stick the micro-photo card into to put them on the laptop and said to heck with it -- I had eggs to unwrap!!!

I have one definitely, at least -- or I had one four days ago before the temperature decided to nosedive... I've been too nervous to check since! But I really have to tonight. Switched them into the new incubator yesterday morning -- which was part of why I was so late setting for NYD; I had to get the already-cooking ones into secure surroundings asap so that took precedence! So tonight I'm going to go through and candle and see what I've got

Oh wow, that looks like a great Christmas morning!

It was! Christmas came early!!! I was bouncing, I was so eggs-cited!

Here they are, all unwrapped and resting (plus the ones I got from Sunnysideup):
You can see two more of the white rock monster eggs over there on the left -- I didn't set them. No room!

So yeah, I went from panicking because I didn't think I'd have ANY eggs for the hatch to spending myself into oblivion (eek!) with the result that I currently have 118 eggs cooking -- I think. Something like that. 81 for NYD, although guaranteed I will NOT be the first hatcher!
