[COLOR=800080]Ooooohhhh...what kind?  I used to raise Madagascars as feeders for my tarantulas and tokays, but I never got into any of the other species.  There are some cool ones out there, though.  (NOTHING like the ones that want to come live in your house with you, Squeamish People!  And they're a high-protein chicken treat, too!)[/COLOR]

X2! I thought it was living wildly to swap for the mealworms and invite those insects to live in my house. Roaches are a whole new level of dedication to your animals, yikes!

I have not even gotten that far yet! lol It took me forever before I would reach into the bag of dried mealworms and grab a handful. OK, I'm a wuss, I'll admit it!!! But you can bet that you can be bleeding to death or puking your guts out, and I will do everything in my power to keep you from dying, or stop you from puking. I hope that lessens the wuss factor.

I've done roaches (dubai) and recently found a local source. I always ship crickets from Ghann's. I keep dozens of fruit fly and springtail cultures. I culture isopods. I've bought a few others like butter worms and soldier fly larva. My strangest..................I bought and had shipped to me.............................termites! The frogs love them! I've even got out to dead wood and picked them by hand as treats.

I think those of us who keep/kept invertebrates, reptiles or amphibians don't have an issue with more inverts.

And yes, kraftyladies, helping someone through puking their guts up is something I have problems with. A completely different level of squeamish!

Good morning peepsters!!  I'm so wishing this week was over.  I'm on vacation after Friday until next year.  I'm picking up 500 roaches on Saturday!  Yeah!  DH is coming home Thursday for Christmas break!!  Yeah!!!

Really? My sister just married and now her last name is Roach... The poor kids! lol... I wonder if we're related by marriage. Indiana and Michigan aren't all that far apart...

So I looked up the link for wheaten marans from yesterday:

A seller in Ohio...and they have no seller feedback. But they're selling all kinds of eggs. But the thing I noticed when looking up feather sexing pictures is that the same picture is on here, from a person in Washington.

$5 shipping ..... hum..... I always take pause when you can't spell the breed or color variety your selling.... that is just me. I would not buy any eggs without seeing the parent stock. Chicks are cute but you can't tell anything much from chicks.

soundy fishy to me and their other auctions looked very familiar. the blue marans eggs looked like someone's here, like peachick or something like that.
