I have another NJ pullet and F1 Isabella (lavender) maran hatched so far!!!!!!

I could really use some reassurance. Power finally came back on - after 8 hours! What are the chances for all those unhatched eggies? Incubation times range from 6 days through 18 days. I'm fretting. I have a lot invested aside from all those little precious lives on the line. I'm sick with worry.

Aren't you 100% on NJ pullets? CJ must be very generous for sending all pullet eggs and keeping all the cockerels herself.

Nope I have 2 cockerels and right now 4 pullets. the oldest pullets are about 6-7 weeks, the other pullet is a week old beside the newbie!

But on a positive note, my birds finally showed up at 4:40 this morning. No thanks to the PO. They are the most unhelpful uncaring people.

CJ ...did you put blankets over your bator to minimize heat loss? if you did you should be okay

I have learned the secret to getting all females from NJ eggs . . . just have them shipped.

You guys are getting girls and I'm getting boys. What's up with that? But I'm happy for you all!

The power was already out when I got up so I thought the best thing for them was to not open the closet door.
